About Me

I enjoy building things: products, systems, tools, teams, relationships, careers. I'm seeking a role that is both technical and humane, that tempers ambition with pragmatism, and values both autonomy and structure.

My journey in tech spans over 30 years, starting at Geoworks building operating systems for early handheld computers and cell phones. I've had the privilege of working at some incredible companies including Amazon (where I helped build A9 search), Twitter (scaling infrastructure through rapid growth), and eero (which Amazon acquired in 2019).

I strive to build effective teams with a strong but evolving culture that is rooted in shared values and a meaningful purpose. I've led organizations that handled billions of requests per day and helped scale companies through acquisitions and rapid growth.

What I'm Working On

Currently, I'm a Senior Developer at Nitid Bit, a boutique software consultancy focused on delivering web and mobile applications for a diverse range of clients. I'm working primarily with Rails, React, and JavaScript, helping teams build scalable solutions.
